- What does the paraffin dip actually do?
- Your hands are lowered into warm wax, which sets into a soft layer and holds heat against the skin. That warmth is what lets moisture be drawn in rather than sitting on the surface. This is the first tier to include it, and it is the step guests most often say they came back for - particularly through winter, and for anyone whose hands are in and out of water at work.
- When is it worth stepping up from the Basic?
- When the Basic leaves your hands tidy but still dry. The nail work itself is much the same. The difference is the massage, the wax and the wrap, which is roughly twenty extra minutes spent on your skin rather than your nails.
- Does it work on short nails?
- Yes. Nothing here depends on length, and no product is bonded to the nail plate, so there is nothing to remove afterwards.
