Terms of Service

Effective October 2025

1. Appointments, Cancellations & No-Shows

  • Booking & Deposits: Some services may require a deposit or card on file. Deposits are applied to your service, but are non-refundable for late cancels or no-shows. ("Think of it as us saving you a seat… like holding your spot at a sold-out concert. Only here, the headliner is your nails")
  • Cancellations: Please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance. Less notice may incur a 50% service fee. ("Our lawyers say we must call it a ‘fee,’ but think of it as our way of keeping the lights on and the polish flowing.")
  • No-Shows: Missed appointments may be charged at 100% of the booked service. ("We’d rather see your face than your empty chair!")
  • Late Arrivals: Arrivals over 10 minutes late may get shortened services or be rescheduled, ( don’t worry you’ll still pay full price and we’ll still make you look fabulous, but we can’t stop the clock.)

2. Payments & Pricing

  • Accepted Methods: We accept cash, debit/credit cards, and certain digital wallets, in combination with a smile (though the smiles won’t pay the rent).
  • Prices: Prices are subject to change without notice (though we try to keep surprises limited to nail art).
  • Gratuities: Tips are appreciated but never required. (Unless you tell a bad lawyer joke… then we might charge extra.)

3. Refunds & Service Guarantees

  • Services: All services are non-refundable. If you’re unhappy, notify us within right away, we’ll gladly redo the service or remove it for you. ("Our redo policy is like a second coat of polish … it covers up the rough spots.")
  • Products: Unused retail products may be returned for credit on account within 14 days (hygiene rules apply).

4. Client Responsibilities & Health

  • Disclosures: Please inform us of any health conditions (e.g., diabetes, allergies, pregnancy, infections). We’ll try to accommodate you as much as possible, however if its dangerous or against the rules we may have to decline service.
  • Consent: By receiving services, you acknowledge some inherent risks (chemicals, tools, reactions), risks (like bumping your fresh nails on your car door immediately after leaving).
  • Waiver: You release Unlimited Nail Systems from liability for issues arising from undisclosed conditions. ("In plain English: help us keep you safe, so we don’t end up on Judge Judy.")

5. Right to Refuse Service

  • We reserve the right to refuse service for reasons including illness, disruptive behavior, intoxication, or unsafe conditions. ("If you show up with your pet iguana and a bad attitude, we’ll politely suggest Starbucks instead.")

6. Children, Guests, Animals and Cell Phones

  • Children: Kids under 13 must be accompanied by an adult; teens 13–17 need parental consent.
  • Guests: Please limit non-service guests to keep the salon comfortable.
  • Animals: Pets are not allowed, except licensed service animals. State regulations prohibit us from making exceptions. ("We love your furry friends, but the Health Department does not. Even if your pug has better nails than we do.")
  • Courtesy & Phone Use: Please keep phone conversations at a low volume. (We know Aunt Linda’s drama is riveting, but for the sake of everyone’s relaxation, kindly save the plot twists for after your service.)

7. Cleanliness & Safety

  • We are mandated to follow Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation (TDLR) sanitation standards (Because ‘rustic chic’ doesn’t apply to nail files.)
  • Tools and stations are disinfected between each client. ("It’s not just because we’re neat freaks … our license depends on it.")

8. Personal Property

  • We’re not responsible for damage to clothing, accessories, or personal items during services. Smocks are available upon request. ("Translation: Don’t wear your prom dress to a pedicure.")

9. Privacy, SMS & Marketing

  • Privacy: We collect limited personal info to improve services and never sell it.
  • SMS Consent: By opting in, you may receive reminders or promotions. Message/data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe. ("Yes, even our texts come with fine print … thank you, telecom lawyers!")

10. Website & Legal

  • Intellectual Property: All logos, images, and text belong to Unlimited Nail Systems unless otherwise noted (Copycats beware—we’ve got glitter and we’re not afraid to use it.)
  • Limitation of Liability: To the extent permitted by law, our liability is capped at the service amount paid.
  • Governing Law: These terms are governed by Texas law, venue in Fort Bend County.
  • Dispute Resolution: Mediation or arbitration first, court later (if needed, but Court is expensive and we’d rather spend that money on polish remover)

11. Changes to Terms

  • We may update these Terms from time to time. Check back periodically for any changes. ("Because lawyers like changing terms almost as much as you like changing nail colors.")

12. Contact

  • Questions or complaints? Reach us through the Contact page or by calling the salon directly. You may also reach out to the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation for state concerns. As always, we love our customers and look forward to seeing you again!
