Good to know
- Can several areas be done in one appointment?
- Yes, and most guests do exactly that. Individual areas are priced separately so you only pay for what you want, but they are quick enough to combine — lip and chin together is the most common pairing. If you want everything, the Full Face is priced as a single service.
- How long does hair need to be?
- About a quarter of an inch, roughly two weeks of growth. Shorter than that and the wax has nothing to grip, so the result is patchy. It is worth waiting rather than booking too early.
- Will my skin react?
- Some redness for a few hours is normal, more so on the lip and chin where skin is thinner. Avoid heavy makeup, sun and hot showers for the rest of the day. Tell your technician in advance if you use retinoids or acid exfoliants — those thin the skin and can make waxing unsuitable.
- How often should I come back?
- Every two to four weeks for most people. Regular waxing tends to make regrowth finer over time, which is why guests on a routine usually find later appointments quicker and more comfortable than the first.
