Good to know
- Is this a manicure, or an add-on?
- An add-on. These prices are the surcharge for the French finish, applied on top of a manicure or a full set — not the price of the appointment itself. Your technician will quote the total before starting.
- What is the difference between the three shapes?
- Classic is the straight line most people picture. Deep round follows a curved smile line that sits lower at the sides, which lengthens a shorter nail. Deep almond comes to a point and suits an already-tapered nail. The deeper shapes cost more because the line takes longer to paint evenly across ten nails.
- Which shape suits my nails?
- As a rough guide: classic works on almost anything, deep round flatters wide or short nail beds, and deep almond needs some length to read properly. Bring a photo if you have one — matching a picture is easier than matching a description.
- Why gel rather than painted polish?
- A gel line is cured hard, so it holds its edge for the life of the set rather than softening or chipping at the tip. On a French, where the whole look depends on one crisp line, that difference shows within days.
