How does it compare to shaving?

It lasts considerably longer, because the hair is removed at the root rather than cut at the surface. Regrowth is softer, and there is no stubble stage. The trade-off is that you need some length before each visit, so you cannot top up in between.

How long does the hair need to be?

Around a quarter of an inch, roughly two weeks of growth. Shorter and the wax cannot grip, which leaves patches. It is worth rescheduling rather than coming in too early.

What should I expect on the day?

Set aside a proper block of time - this is the longest waxing service we offer. Loose clothing afterwards is more comfortable than tight jeans, and it is best to avoid the gym, swimming or a hot bath for the rest of the day.
